Nabumetone is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is a COX-2 inhibitor. It is often preferred over other similar drugs because it has less of an effect on the liver, kidneys, stomach and heart compared to similar drugs. It also has fewer medicine interactions with ACE inhibitors.
Like other NSAIDs, it is commonly used in the treatment of arthritis.
