Mackenzie Alexander Astin is an American actor. On House, M.D., he portrayed Alan Alston, the father of Ian Alston in the Season 2 episode All In.
Astin has been a professional actor since the age of nine. He has since had featured roles in I Dream of Jeannie 15 Years Later, The Facts of Life Down Under, The Garbage Pail Kids Movie, The Facts of Life, Brooklyn Bridge, The Evening Star, In Love and War, First Years and Grey's Anatomy.
