Lead chromate, or more properly Lead(II) chromate is a chemical compound with the chemical formula PbCrO4.  It is commonly used as a yellow pigment, particularly in paint.  It is highly toxic if swallowed or inhaled as both the lead and the chromium will break down in the body.
