Dyskinesia describes involuntary muscle movements and diminished muscle control. It covers a wide range of symptoms from hand shaking to uncontrolled violent movement of the arms or legs. It can also affect internal muscles such as those that control breathing.
Dyskinesia can have a wide range of underlying causes including the use of medications over a prolonged period of time.
