Dr. Banerjee is Andres Tavares' primary care physician for his Alzheimer's disease in the Season 8 episode Better Half. She was portrayed by actress Roma Chugani.
She is seen at the beginning of the episode giving Andres cognitive tests. When he starts doing poorly, he gets very angry at Dr. Banerjee. Andres' wife apologizes, but it's clear Dr. Banerjee is used to dealing with Alzheimer's patients and realizes they have such episodes of anger. She is telling the couple that Andres is eligible for a clinical trial when he starts coughing up blood.
